Dice Dungeon
Made in 48 hours for the GMTK game jam... though I had to switch engine part way through...
Controls--
Arrow keys- Move
Mouse- Press buttons
You wake up in a dungeon with a pair of magic dice. One lets you pull out your sword, the other... a lot.
Special die functions--
Shield- allows you to get hit once without taking damage
Blank face- nothing happens
Heart shape with subtract symbol- damages both you and your opponent, though your opponent more
Sword- boosts damage when you next attack
Shoe- allows you to move an extra square of movement
Lines- awakens an invisible trap in a random square
Notes--
-You can move 2 squares each turn
-You have 20hp, and so does the goblin
-There are a few bugs...
-When you reach level two, just run for the podium and don't get hit. Then you will win!

I can see the concept behind the gameplay but the game needs some work in UI/UX for better introducing mechanics. well done.
The game is very confusing in terms of it's visuals conveying what is happening. I think a lot more polish is needed to get the player to understand the gameplay loop.
